Derek Dubner has served as co-CEO of IDI, Inc. (NYSE MKT: IDI) since 2014. Before this position, he worked as a lawyer for high net worth clients and their business ventures. As an avid follower of financial markets and an active investor, Derek Dubner has a keen interest in economic cycles and trends.
Mr. Dubner received a juris doctorate from Florida State University College of Law in 1996 and a bachelor’s in economics and finance from Pennsylvania State University in 1994. His responsibilities as co-CEO of IDI, Inc. include setting the company’s vision and strategy, as well as organizing the corporate structure. He also plays a key role in capital allocation, which in regards to IDI, Inc., regularly flows to technology-focused companies like Uber, Tesla, and Solarcity. IDI, Inc.’s mission is to make society safer, and it does so through its focus on tech-centered products.
In his free time, Mr. Dubner enjoys weight training and running, as well as staying up to date on the latest financial market trends.
